This website is designed to assist you with information and questions regarding vehicle emissions testing in Davis County. The Air Quality Program is a critical component in achieving Davis County’s continuing mission to:
  1. Protect and promote the public health, safety and welfare;
  2. Improve air quality;
  3. Reduce the aesthetic affront of visible air pollution;
  4. Comply with Federal requirements contained in the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990, PL 101-549; and
  5. Comply with the law enacted by the Legislature of the Sate of Utah, Section 41-6a-1642 through 1644, Utah Code Annotated, 1953, as amended; and with the Utah Air Quality Board requirements under subsection 19-2-104
The Davis County Health Department Air Quality Bureau administers the Program. The program is managed by Worldwide Environmental Products, Inc. in cooperation with local, automotive businesses.
